With a user friendly dashboard, the app alerts and notifies users about upcoming payments and due dates for credit cards and provides links to RHB's banking and lifestyle offers.
The app offers quick access to account information with a Quick Login feature using PIN or biometrics and a “One-touch payment” feature that allows payments to be made effortlessly for up to eight specified recipients and with no full login needed for payments up to $121 (RM500). Users can also make payments via DuitNow, bills, JomPay, top-up, inter-bank transfer with the app and a feature called RHB Finder enables customers to locate the nearest RHB Bank branch.
The new RHB Mobile Banking App will co-exist with the current RHB Now app and internet banking platform over the next 12 months, before it is gradually integrated to a single platform.
RHB hopes that the new app will increase transaction volume via digital channels from 66% currently to more than 80% by 2022. Currently, RHB has approximately 1.8 million active RHB Now internet banking users, out of which more than 500,000 are active mobile banking users.
