Standard Chartered's mobile banking does away with Internet
Standard Chartered Bank electronic banking platform now enables corporate executives to access electronic banking facilities even without Internet connection. It delivers greater speed, convenience and security to clients as this is a fully mobile application as apposed to other applications which are only accessible via a mobile browser.
The enhanced Straight2Bank with added functions includes the Info Manager, Mobile Authorisation and Straight2Bank. The Info Manager mechanism offers strong information reporting function with real-time account information notice and customised account reports based on clients’ financial management model. The Mobile Authorisation also gives them a secure means for authorising financial transactions with their mobile phones. Standard Chartered is the first bank to offer an application for Mobile Authorisation.

This effectively minimizes transaction lag time, allowing clients to make the most of their working capital and manage liquidity efficiently and at their own convenience.”

Standard Chartered Bank’s Straight2Bank platform is adopted by 37,700 clients across 56 countries around the globe, handling up to 100,000 transactions per day.
