KTB to cut on outside area fee rate
Krung Thai Bank is going to reduce its outside area transfer and withdrawal’s fee to 15 baht for customers conducting transactions through the Bank’s ATMs and ADMs.
Mr. Apisak Tantivorawong, President, Krung Thai Bank PCL. discloses that according to the Thai’s Bankers Association decision for every bank to reduce their inter bank and different zones fees, now, Krung Thai Bank has its readiness to charge new fee rate from this February 14 onwards. Customers withdrawals made on its accounts across different zones will be charged US$0.49 per transaction while fund transfers through the Bank’s ATMs and ADMs will be free of charge for the first transaction of every month and the subsequent transfer costs US$0.49.
“Moreover, the Bank gives other reductions as the present on Valentine Day. The Bank will not charge for the first transaction each month conducted via Internet or Mobile Banking and subsequent transaction would cost 10 baht. Automatic transfer within the same bank account will be charged at 10 baht.”
Mr. Apisak Tantivorawong further states that the Bank is taking the lead on reducing fees since the system is ready, and the Bank want to relieve the client’s burden, increase financial opportunity for retail and rural customers and facilitate every group of clients.
In addition, he said inter bank and outside area fee would be reduced to US$0.6548 per transaction by the middle of this year.
