POSB Everyday Card relaunches with new partners
Cardholders get 2% cash rebate when using their card overseas.
Singapore’s favourite card – the POSB Everyday Card – has been relaunched to offer greater convenience and savings to its cardholders spending locally and overseas.
Besides existing tie-ups with merchants like SPC, Watsons and POPULAR, the POSB Everyday Card continues to lead the way in partnering well-known brands to bring about exciting offers to cater to the discerning consumers of today.
As Singaporeans are now travelling more frequently for business and leisure, the relaunched POSB Everyday Card will offer its cardholders 2% cash rebate when they use their card overseas. In addition, POSB will also partner AirAsia, the leading and largest low-cost carrier in Asia, where POSB Everyday cardholders can get 3% cash rebate when they book their flights online at AirAsia.com.
According to CTC Travel, a total of 8.05 million overseas trips were made out of Singapore in 2012 and on average, Singapore residents make two to four overseas trips per year. Overseas transactions made by POSB Everyday cardholders have also grown by 50% in 2013 from the previous year.
In Singapore, the POSB Everyday Card continues to offer cash rebates on everyday spending and payment of everyday bills such as utilities and groceries. Cardholders can enjoy rebates of up to 20% at over 400 partner outlets and 0.3% on everything else. Cardholders can also redeem their cash rebates at POSB iBanking to offset credit card bills or instantly redeem on the spot for purchases at participating partner outlets,
In line with its commitment to bring about greater savings to its cardholders, POSB Everyday Card is also partnering with Sheng Siong, one of Singapore’s largest grocery chain with 33 stores islandwide. Through this partnership, the POSB Everyday Card will offer its cardholders 5% cash rebate for their grocery needs.
Anthony Seow, Executive Director & Head, Cards and Unsecured Loans, DBS Bank, said, “With over 500,000 cardholders, the POSB Everyday Card is testament to the popularity of the Card and the affinity Singaporeans have with the POSB brand. Through our new partnerships, we want Singaporeans to enjoy cardholder benefits whether they are in or out of Singapore. We understand their needs and we will continue to bring greater value to our cardmembers so as to remain the most preferred card for everyday spending.”
The POSB Everyday Card is an all-in-one card which cardholders can use as an ATM card and an Ez-Link card for greater convenience, enabling them to use their card on their daily commutes. Cardholders can choose to enroll in Ez-Reload and enjoy a 2% cash rebate on their auto top up.

In Singapore, the number of contactless transactions has grown rapidly by almost six times with over 350,000 contactless transactions made each month.
