Taiwanese credit card firms’ revolving credit up 2.05% in April
A total of 38.12 million credit cards were active in Taiwan as of end-April.
The balance of revolving credit held by Taiwanese credit card institutions rose to NT$109.5b in April, 2.05% higher than the NT$107.3b balance held in end-March, latest figures showed.
A total of 58.97 million cards, of which 38.12 million are active, were in Taiwan as of April, according to official data from Taiwan’s Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) released in June.
The amount of undue balance of installment totalled NT$163.2b, 4.67% lower than the NT$171.2b recorded in March.
Average ratio of delinquency credit– or those past three months due– against account receivables was 0.28%, a slight uptick from the 0.27% a month prior.
