Visa taps seven APAC startups for digital payments innovation

Startup companies were chosen from India, Mainland China, Thailand, Singapore, and Germany.

Global digital payments firm Visa partnered with seven startups for its Visa Accelerator Program in the Asia Pacific (APAC).

Startups from India, Mainland China, Thailand, Singapore, and Germany will collaborate for innovation in Web 3.0, global money movement, embedded finance, merchant and small business enablers, and open banking solutions.

The startups chosen for the 2023 cohort include Dowsure from Mainland China, Doxa Holdings from Singapore, Kadmos from Germany, Pi-xcels from Singapore, Playbux from Thailand, Transpure from India, and Twid from India.

For a period of six months, the startups will collaborate closely with Visa's payment experts, business development teams, and customers. This program aims to facilitate the co-development, testing, and iteration of their solutions. 

Additionally, the startups will have the chance to validate their solutions against various commercial opportunities within Visa's extensive network of financial institutions, merchants, and digital partners.
