Jollibee opens ninth store in Toronto
The Centerpoint Mall location also brings Jollibee's Canada footprint to 17 stores in total.
Philippine fast food giant Jollibee continues its expansion across Canada with its newest location at Centerpoint Mall in Toronto, Ontario.
Opened last 6 March, the store marks the ninth restaurant to open its doors in the Canadian province. The company cited the Greater Toronto Area is a key target within the international chain's broader strategy to strengthen its footprint throughout the country.
As indoor dining will not be offered in compliance with COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, Jollibee is offering a variety of ordering options, including call & pick-up, to-go, and delivery via DoorDash.
The Centerpoint Mall location also brings Jollibee's Canada footprint to 17 stores in total. The fast food brand expressed plans to open an additional six stores in Canada and 20 stores in the U.S. by the end of 2021.
The chain has a larger goal of opening 300 store locations throughout North America by 2024.
