Krung Thai Bank and Kasikornbank hit by data leak
However, no financial damage has been found.
Reuters reports that two of Thailand’s largest banks - Krung Thai Bank and Kasikornbank reported a non-financial transaction data leak.

Kasikornbank’s leaked data consisted of public information of corporate clients whilst Krung Thai Bank’s leakage consisted mainly of loan requests from retail and corporate clients.

However, no financial damage has been found so far, according to a central bank statement.
The Bank of Thailand has urged banks to tighten cybersecurity measures and roll out measures to compensate clients in case of damage.
