Asian Banking and Finance 2017 Retail Banking Forum launches in Manila
The Manila leg will take place on February 15 at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel.
Asian Banking Finance is organising the Retail Banking Forum for the third time this year, and Manila will again be the first of 6 cities where the series of forums will be held.
The half-day event will cover discussions around the digital banking landscape in the country, e-commerce trends, as well as innovations in the cards & payments sector.
Liew Nam Soon, ASEAN managing partner for financial services at EY, will lead the discussion as this year’s thought leader. Other confirmed speakers include Mark Bantigue, head of e-commerce at Security Bank; Rajiv Madane, director, product & strategy, core banking, risk & compliance and payment networks, ASPAC at Fiserv; and a representative from Experian.
Last year, more than 60 bankers and industry players attended the Manila leg of the ABF Retail Banking Forum. Among the speakers were Atty. Prudence Angelita Kasala, head of financial consumer protection group at the Central Bank of the Philippines; Cristina Tan, managing director, consumer management at Citibank; and Mark Perez, retail banking head at Metrobank.
The Manila leg will be held at Makati Shangri-La from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM.
