The Asian Banking Finance Retail Banking Forum's Manila leg to take place on March 9
The event will be held at the Makati Shangri-La.
The Asian Banking Finance will launch this year's Retail Banking Forum with its Manila leg on March 9, 2016 from 8:30am to 12nn at the Makati Shangri-La.
The half-day event will feature five sessions centred on various topics: Non-bank competition & mobile banking; services' role in banks' ATM strategy; the BSP's Consumer Protection Framework; small business lending; and customer level scoring. All sessions will be moderated by Tim Charlton, editor-in-chief and publisher of Asian Banking and Finance Magazine.
The panelists are composed of veteran bankers industry leaders such as Cristina Tan, managing director, consumer management at Citibank; Eduardo Olbes, EVP - wholesale banking segment, Security Bank; Miguel C. Villa-Real, head of corporate communications, Philippine Veterans Bank; Patrick Cheng, head of trust group at ChinaBank; Atty. Prudence Kasala, head of financial consumer protection at the Central Bank of the Philippines; and Benel Lagua, EVP and chief development officer, Development Bank of the Philippines.
Representatives from Diebold and Experian will also deliver a presentation during the forum.
The Asian Banking and Finance will also be holding the Retail Banking Forum in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (April 6), Jakarta Indonesia (April 27), Singapore, Singapore (May 11), and Bangkok, Thailand (May 25).
