BPI launches investment service for overseas Filipino workers
With Investment 3.0, the lender provide online platform for investment opportunities though they are away from home.
Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) has more than 100,000 clients overseas who are into e-banking and mobile banking, prompting it to come up with an investment service targeting this market.
"Since they are far away, we have created a product that they can use even abroad," said Teresita Tan, BPI executive director for overseas banking and channel services.
The new BPI service, Investment 3.0, can be accessed through the bpiexpressonline website.
On the website, clients can see all the necessary information they need to learn about the investment products they may wish to avail for themselves.
Investment 3.0 is heavy with research materials to help customers decide which investments to pursue.
"...So, when they get back here, they have ready investment outlets," Tan said.
