Citi makes new appointments to Treasury and Trade business
This follows the ASEAN appointments from earlier this week.
Citi has made additional head appointments for its Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) business.
Deven Somaya has been named as head of emerging commerce solutions within Citi’s TTS Partnerships and Innovation Group.
The newly created role will see Somaya work closely with partnerships, strategic investments, products, sales and geographies to design and develop new client solutions.
Somaya is tasked with co-developing new commercial solutions with clients and ecosystem partners, identifying and assessing commercial opportunities in new product and service areas that can unlock long-term strategic value, according to Citi.

Deven will continue to be based in Singapore. He reports to Biswarup Chatterjee, TTS Global Head, Partnerships and Innovation; and Rajesh Mehta, Head of TTS Asia Pacific.
New head of TTS for Australia, New Zealand
Kirstin Renner, meanwhile, has been appointed as head of Treasury and Trade Solutions for Australia & New Zealand.
Prior to becoming head of TTS for these markets, Renner has held a number of senior positions. She was head of Implementation and Channel Product, Chief Operating Officer and most recently Head of Core Cash Product.
Renner reports to Rajesh Mehta, Head of TTS Asia Pacific.
