Standard Chartered appoints Margaret Harwood-Jones as global head for investors & intermediaries, sales
She will be based in Singapore.
Standard Chartered has appointed Margaret Harwood-Jones as Global Head, Investors & Intermediaries, Sales, Transaction Banking. Margaret joined the Bank on 10 December and reports to Jiten Arora, Global Head of Sales, Transaction Banking. She will be based in Singapore.
In this newly created role, Margaret will lead the business agenda for the Institutional Investor and Intermediary clients across the Bank’s footprint with a focus on accelerating growth and driving our client agenda.
Prior to joining the Bank, Margaret was from BNP Paribas Securities Services where she was Head of Client Segments, Asset Managers and Alternative Investments. She brings with her extensive global experience across various senior management positions in top institutions in the securities services environment.

Margaret’s appointment comes off the back of other high-profile hires in the Bank’s Investor & Intermediaries division. In November, the Bank announced the appointments of Alan Naughton as Global Product Head, Investors & Intermediaries, Transaction Banking and Andrew Hempshall as Global Head of Solution Delivery & Service, Investors & Intermediaries, Transaction Banking. All three appointments testify to the Bank’s continued focus and commitment to clients within the sector.
