Sabah banks act to push up tourist numbers
Joint ventures between Sabah and foreign companies helps encourage more tourists to the state, says Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman.
These developments have been able to not only boost foreign direct investments but have also contributed towards growth and wealth creation and produced a high number of jobs for the locals.
"This is in line with the Sabah Development Corridor and the emphasis on private sector investment as driven by Malaysia's Economic Transformation Programme," he said when opening the Ming Garden Hotel and Residences here today jointly developed by a China company with Sabah Urban Development Corporation.
